Ingredients
Thinly sliced red onions
White vinegar
Water
Salt
Instructions
Put the onions in an airtight glass jar.
Mix equal parts water and vinegar (enough to cover the onions) with a big pinch of salt.
Bring your mixture to a boil
Pour boiling brine over the onions.
Store in the refrigerator and wait at least 2 hours before use. These last in the fridge for about 3 weeks.
